Andres Iniesta has been left out of the Barcelona team to face Espanyol this afternoon.

But they did so without Iniesta, who was left out in place of Xavi – the veteran lining up alongside Sergio Busquets and Cesc Fabregas in midfield.
With Victor Valdes out for the season, Jose Pinto was given a start in goal, whilst Pedro came in up front to play with Lionel Messi and Neymar in a front three.
The Periquitos meanwhile were led by captain and talisman Sergio Garica.
