Madrid could have Ramos for Sevilla

Real Madrid could have Sergio Ramos available for tonight’s game at Sevilla despite the Competition Committee upholding his Clasico red card.

Ramos was dismissed for bringing down Neymar in the 4-3 Barcelona victory but Madrid are appealing the Committee’s decision.

The RFEF’s Appeals Committee will sit this morning to decide if there are grounds to overturn the Competition Committee’s ruling.

If they find against Madrid then AS reports Los Blancos will take the case to the Spanish Sport Ministry’s Administrative Court (TAD).

Should they take that step then Madrid would request an injunction against the suspension, which would free Ramos to play against his former club.

Madrid argue that referee Alberto Undiano Mallenco was wrong to send off Ramos as Neymar came from an offside position and it wasn’t a clear goal scoring opportunity.

Ramos has been included in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad list for the Sevilla game despite his one-match suspension standing.
