Cosmin Contra has called on Getafe to be more dangerous in attack if they are to preserve their La Liga status.
El Geta fell to a 1-0 defeat against Athletic Bilbao at San Mames on Saturday and Contra told his post-match Press conference his side need to be more ruthless.
“We need to improve our attacking a lot and play with the intensity we had in the second half,” the Romanian added.
“Aside from their goal we were good in defence, although we struggled because we didn’t have much of the ball.
“We were better in the second half and it was more open. We had chances, but Athletic could have got a second goal on the counter-attack.”
