Marc-Andre Ter Stegen is said to have undergone and passed a secret medical with Barcelona ahead of a summer move to Camp Nou.
Mundo Deportivo cites a report by German publication Bild which claims Ter Stegen had a medical in Germany under the watch of a Barcelona team.
With no problems found in the procedure it is now thought just the formalities stand in the way Ter Stegen’s move from Borussia Monchengladbach to Barcelona.
A fee of €12m has been mooted with Ter Stegen picked to replace Victor Valdes, who has announced he will leave the club this summer when his contract expires.
Ter Stegen has reportedly been asked not to comment on the proposed move until Valdes’ next move is known, out of respect for the incumbent goalkeeper.
