Juanfran admitted that Atletico Madrid are ‘not used to losing’ but urged his team to get back to winning ways.
The capital club lost 3-0 to Osasuna on Sunday evening, to leave themselves three points behind sole leaders Real Madrid.
“Osasuna found two goals pretty quickly. The first was a good set pieces and the second one was a fabulous strike from Armenteros,” he told reporters.
“For us it is always a bad time to lose. We are not used to it, we are a winning team.
“Normally we do not concede a lot of goals, it's been a good first half for Osasuna, and they deserved it.
“We're fine, the only problem is that they have been more successful and we have not had occasion nor confidence to finish them.
“They deserved to win, but we are physically in good shape."
“We’re eager to prepare the week and think that if we beat Madrid things are going to be different.
“We will prepare well, we played in our stadium where we are undefeated and am convinced that we will have a good game and we will win.”
