David Villa was able to take a full part in training with his Atletico Madrid teammates on Thursday.
The striker has been missing from recent fixtures with an injury to his left thigh but trained as normal ahead of the game against Real Valladolid on Saturday.
AS reports however that it is unlikely the Spain international will start the game, with a place on the bench considered more realistic.
Villa is though expected to be fully available for the Champions League with Milan later this month.
Filipe was also involved in training, and was seen sprinting, AS says.
Thibaut Courtois is yet to resume training from his back injury, having missed the past two games.
Javi Banquillo has been discharged from hospital after the heavy fall against Real Madrid but will spend the next four to six weeks in a neck collar as a precaution.
