Diego Perotti has left Sevilla to join Argentine giants Boca Juniors on a six-month loan deal.
Perotti was strongly linked with a move away from the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan throughout the winter transfer window but the market closed before a deal with a European club could be done.
Perotti reportedly turned down advances from clubs in Germany and England but has clinched a switch to Boca, the club his father represented in the 1970s and 1980s.
Mundo Deportivo reports that Perotti will spend the rest of the season at Boca, who have the option to buy the winger for €2.5m at the end of the loan period.
