Carles Puyol, Neymar, Andres Iniesta, Alex Song and Martin Montoya are all missing for Barcelona’s game against Malaga on Sunday.
Neymar is has begun his rehabilitation from the ankle problem picked up against Getafe while the other quarter are all nursing injuries.
Iniesta continues to be bothered by a knee problem but is expected to return to training soon, while Puyol suffered bruising against Levante.
Song’s calf is bothering him while Montoya has discomfort in his Achilles. Both have been left out as a precaution.
Ibrahim Afellay has returned to training and is in the squad to play Malaga, his first appearance in the Barca roster this season.
Sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta watched training on Saturday.
