Cesc: Neymar reminds me of Cruyff

Cesc Fabregas has claimed that Barcelona teammate Neymar reminds him of Blaugrana legend Johan Cruyff.

The Brazilian joined the Camp Nou outfit in the summer, but has already established himself in Tata Martino’s XI.

And the former Arsenal midfielder has insisted that the Selecao youngster has enough quality to become one of the best ever.

“Neymar reminds me of Cruyff,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I never got the chance to watch him play but Cruyff had an incredible change of pace, as Neymar does.

“He’s quick off the mark, stops dead and is off again so fast. He also reminds me of Cruyff for how fast he is when he’s with the ball.”

Fabregas then commented on Coach Martino, and has urged fans to be patient with the Argentine tactician.

“People have very little patience. They want this Barça to be like Guardiola’s when that is practically impossible, starting with the fact that we don’t have players with the physique of Abidal, Eto’o or Touré.

“Moreover, Tata Martino has just arrived here and a new Coach also needs time to adapt.”
