’20 poor minutes nearly cost us’

Tata Martino was left with mixed feelings after Barcelona came from behind to beat Getafe 5-2 on Sunday.

The Blaugrana were 2-0 inside 20 minutes, but a first half Pedro hat-trick and a second half double from Cesc Fabregas gave the Catalan side all three points.

The Coach though, took the positives and the negatives from the encounter.

"Pique should have scored the 1-0, then we had 10-20 extremely poor minutes which could have cost us, but we kept our style and had 70 more good minutes,” he told a Press conference.

“Pedro? He played a fantastic game, he always scores. But it was above all a solid team performance.

“Pedro's secret is that he never gives up. That's why every Coach ends us loving him.

“Hopefully, God willing, Messi, Valdes and Xavi will all be back when we start again in January.

"Footballwise, the team gets better each game. Things we should improve? Keeping clean sheets and defending set pieces better, for sure.”
