Pedro ‘happy at Barcelona’

Pedro Rodriguez has admitted playing less at Barcelona ‘feels different’, but has assured his ‘only goal’ is to ‘continue with’ the club.

The Spain international has seemingly fallen behind Neymar and Alexis Sanchez in the pecking order at the Camp Nou in recent weeks.

This week taking a dive with the sharks at Barcelona’s Aquarium, the 26-year-old afterwards spoke to the media and was asked about rumours that this could be his last season with the Catalan club.

“I am happy with Barcelona, but things have to be evaluated every season,” responded Pedro to reporters.

“My goal is to try and stay at this club where I feel very valued and loved.

“When you play less you do not feel less important, but it is true that you notice playing fewer minutes and it is different.

“But I must fight for my only goal, which is to continue with Barca.”
