Arsenal, City asked about Iker

Intermediaries apparently working on Iker Casillas’ behalf have contacted Arsenal and Manchester City over a possible January transfer.

The Real Madrid man has spent 2013 on the bench in La Liga behind Diego Lopez and has previously hinted that he may have to leave Los Blancos should the situation not change in the future.

The Daily Mirror believe that concern in the player’s camp is already prevalent, with the World Cup in view next summer, and the British publication say that intermediaries acting on the player’s are looking for action this January.

It is alleged that they have approached officials at both Arsenal and Manchester City, clubs both previously linked with the 32-year-old, over the possibility of them making a bid this winter transfer window.
