Andres Iniesta was the notable exception to Barcelona’s return to training on Tuesday morning, as he sat out in discomfort.
The 29-year-old, who yesterday evening picked up the LFP award for Best Attacking Midfielder of 2012-13, was confirmed by his club as having sat out today’s morning session.
Iniesta, who played 84 minutes of Barca’s defeat at Athletic Bilbao on Sunday, was reported by the Catalans as today suffering with discomfort in his left hamstring muscle.
Barca are working towards Friday’s Copa del Rey meeting with Cartagena in Murcia.
