Diego Simeone was delighted with Atletico Madrid side as they scored two late goals to beat Elche on Saturday.
Koke and Diego Costa netted in the second half to give the capital club a crucial away win this evening.
“It was a very important victory against a tough opponent,” he told a Press conference.
“We made a good start to the first half, but then Elche came out and hit us on the counter a few times.
“They play in a very similar way to ourselves, so it was always going to be tough.
“We have to start being realistic. I know it’s a good time to be an Atletico fan, but all we can think about is going game-by-game.”
