Iniesta won’t consider other clubs

Andres Iniesta is reportedly unwilling to listen to propositions from other clubs at this time, even as contract talks with Barcelona are still not progressing.

The midfielder is seen as having reached an impasse with the Catalans in talks to extend his current contract beyond its June 2015 expiry.

Whilst Barca have made clear in public their desire to make Iniesta the second highest paid player at the club behind only Lionel Messi, Mundo Deportivo are continuing with the assertion that the terms offered have not convinced Iniesta of their valuation of him.

It is seen that where the 29-year-old is being offered an extended number of years to improve his overall earning, the playmaker is keen for improved terms of a more immediate effect.

The situation reportedly has Manchester United interested in making a midseason move for Iniesta.

However, it is believed that the player’s will is still to reach an agreement with Barca and that at this time he will not be talking with other clubs.
