Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser al Khelaifi has rubbished reports that the French club could make a move for Lionel Messi.
Speculation has increased in recent months that the Ligue 1 champions would be willing to match Barcelona’s €250m asking price for the Argentine.
But the Parisiens owner has insisted that is not the case.
“I haven't spoken to Messi, because I'm not interested in signing him,” he told reporters.
“I would never pay what they say he costs. I'm realistic, and that amount is not.”
