Raphael Varane has skipped Real Madrid’s latest training session and he will be rested for the trip out to Rayo Vallecano.
The Frenchman has managed the full 90 minutes in each of Madrid’s last two League outings, as he continues to find full fitness after five months on the sidelines following knee surgery in May.
However, he will miss tomorrow evening’s derby trip out to Rayo as, having missed Friday’s training session, Coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed he would be rested.
The 20-year-old, who is still included in the squad to make the trip to Vallecas, was the only absentee for the Italian this morning and worked in the gym instead.
