Borussia Dortmund have reportedly promised to Mats Hummels that he can talk to Barcelona over a move come next summer.
The German international was one of a number of centre-backs across Europe linked with a transfer to the Catalans during the recent transfer window, only for Barca to opt against signing anyone.
However, Bild understand that the Camp Nou outfit are keeping tabs on Hummels and are prepared to come back in with an offer as high as €35m to buy him out of his current contract with Dortmund.
Further to this, the German publication also allege that Die Borussen have promised to the 24-year-old that should Barca indeed come in with a suitable offer, that they will not stand in the way of him negotiating an exit.
