Angel di Maria and Sami Khedira have both been released by their national teams back to Real Madrid early.
Di Maria has been released from duty with Argentina ahead of Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier with Uruguay on a technical decision, with Coach Alejandro Sabella seen as keen to try out alternatives in his position.
Meanwhile, Khedira has been sent home early from work with the German national side, as he is suspended for their closing qualifier away to Sweden tomorrow night.
