Zinedine Zidane has defended Real Madrid’s handling of Gareth Bale, after the Wales international suffered an injury after just a week in the capital.
The former Tottenham man played just twice for Los Blancos before pulling up before the game against Getafe last month.
The assistant though, has insisted that Bale is doing well at Santiago Bernabeu.
“Gareth’s well integrated at the club and everyone has received him very well,” he told Sport 360.
"He was lacking a bit of physical preparation when he arrived so it has been a bit delicate in the beginning with his physical state.
“The only thing that is lacking with his condition is that he hasn’t trained enough with the rest of the team.”
