Current Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has claimed he was Coach of the best Real Madrid side in history.
The Portuguese tactician left Santiago Bernabeu in the summer to re-join the west London team after a mixed time in the Spanish capital.
But Mourinho has insisted he is proud of his time with Los Blancos.
"Who is the manager of the best Real Madrid team in history? That’s me," he told ESPN. “100 points, 121 goals, we were champions against the best Barcelona there ever has been. I am the one.
“Real Madrid were a defensive team? We scored 121 goals and got 100 points. My Chelsea was defensive? But they still have the Premier League points’ record.
“My teams are great teams. My teams are the ones with all the goal records. I am the champion of the League of Records. That is my place in history.
"M y teams are built to win. You have to be dominant to win more than not so that is what my teams try to be.”
