Neymar reflected briefly on his clash with Scott Brown, but took most value from Barcelona’s 1-0 win over Celtic.
During the Champions League affair at Celtic Park on Tuesday night, Celtic’s captain was dismissed on the hour mark for a kick out at the Brazilian forward when he was on the floor after an initial foul.
“Yes, Brown kicked me,” responded Neymar to reporters’ questions on the incident, which subsequently saw him draw the ire of the home support.
“Everyone can interpret it as they want to. Some kicks cannot be avoided. We should be looking at the limits of football and not trying to hurt anyone.
“But the most important thing is to get the win and that everyone has taken their responsibility. I'm very happy with the result.
“It's especially important to play in this tournament because, for me, it is the best one and this victory was very important for us.
“It was a great game, a very difficult and tough game physically, but I'm very happy with our victory.
“Nothing is easy but we'll try and get good results in our remaining games to make it as easy as possible to qualify for the next round.
“Tata [Martino] is a great Coach. We have not been working together for long but he is a great Coach and a great person.”
