Gareth Bale has continued his recovery from fitness uncertainty and looks set to make Real Madrid’s weekend clash with Atletico Madrid.
The winger pulled out of Madrid’s Week 5 clash at home to Getafe during the pre-match warm-up suffering discomfort in his thigh.
Whilst tests revealed a minor overload, the 24-year-old was left out of plans for the midweek trip to Elche to focus on working through a recovery programme.
On from that, the Welshman has rejoined his colleagues in training today to take a full part in the workout, indicating that he is on course to be available for selection this Saturday for the visit of Atletico Madrid.
Those who started yesterday’s 2-1 win at Elche generally worked through recovery programmes for the day in the gym.
