Carlo Ancelotti has claimed that he was happy with Isco’s performance after the 3-1 win over Athletic Bilbao.

The Spanish youngster scored two with Cristian Ronaldo bagging the other in the win at Santiago Bernabeu.

And the Italian tactician admitted it was a good result, whilst also confirming that Fabio Coentrao will be staying this summer.

“Isco is playing very well, it seems he has played a long time here, he has personality, skill, he is a good player for us,” he told a Press conference.

“Isco can play centre and on the wing. More defensive work on wing. In centre he is freer to look for space between the two lines.

“He has the ability to find the right position on the pitch.

“Cristiano scored, and for him it is good to score,.

“He didn’t have a problem, but to score, for a forward, is always a good thing.

"There were a few whistles for Benzema, but the whole stadium clapped Di Maria. Fans look at work.

“In Benzema’s position you don’t have to work as hard.

"I dont know really what'll happen tomorrow. I can’t say today the squad will stay as it is. There could be changes, exits and arrivals.

“Fabio Coentrao is staying. Everyone – the players, the coaches, the club, is very happy with this decision.”
