Esteban Granero has remarked that just as Real Sociedad stunned Lyon on Tuesday, the French are capable of the same next week.
Real yesterday picked up a 2-0 win at the Stade de Gerland to boost their hopes of progressing through the Champions League Play-off round and into the competition proper.
However, their recent summer arrival in midfield has warned that the job is only half done at the moment.
“It is true that we are on a good track, but this has just begun,” reflected Granero, who debuted from the bench in the win.
“If we continue along the same lines then we will do well.
“Yes, we have an advantage, but just as we have won here, they can do the same at Anoeta.
“We now have to think about the next match, against Elche.”
