Ancelotti names debut Madrid squad

Carlo Ancelotti has named his first 20-man Real Madrid squad of the season, as they prepare to face Real Betis.

Los Blancos play Pepe Mel’s men at Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, but will do so without Asier Illarramendi and Xabi Alonso who are both injured.

Pepe meanwhile, is named despite sitting out training this morning with a calf strain.

Goalkeepers: Casillas, Diego López and Tomás Mejías.
Defenders: Pepe, Sergio Ramos, Arbeloa, Nacho, Marcelo and Carvajal.
Midfielders: Kaká, Khedira, Özil, Modric, Casemiro, Isco and Di María.
Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Jesé and Morata.
