Raphael Varane has been back in training for Real Madrid, despite reports earlier this week that there had been a complication in the defender’s rehabilitation.
The French centre-back underwent surgery in May for meniscus damage in his right knee, but after initially recovering well, stories emerged that the injury had re-emerged.
However, the player was seen in sessions this week, and seems to be back near his best.
“My programme of recovery and strengthening of the knee remains the same,” Varane posted on his official Twitter page.
“There has been no particular complication.”
It remains unclear though, when Varane will be back in contention for Carlo Ancelotti’s men.
