Khedira offered to PSG claim

Speculation surrounding Sami Khedira’s future at Real Madrid has intensified following claims he was offered to Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Radio Montecarlo, the player’s representatives contacted the French club on Wednesday saying he would be open to a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu in light of Jose Mourinho’s departure and the arrival of new midfield signings.

The German international is unsure whether he will be a regular fixture in new boss Carlo Ancelotti’s starting line-up next term and is also fearful he could lose his place in his country’s national team before the start of next year’s World Cup.

As a result, PSG have not ruled out negotiations to bring Khedira to the Parc des Princes, although it is understood it would take a big-money offer to pave the way for any possible transfer.

Marca claims Khedira is not indispensable and is still considered important by Ancelotti, although the Italian tactician has an abundance of central midfield talent at his disposal with Asier Illarramendi, Xabi Alonso, Luka Modric and youngster Casemiro.
