Liga de Futbol Profesional have confirmed that Alcorcon will be allowed to play in Segunda next term, just three days before the season kicks off.
The Madrid-based club had been threatened with relegation to Segunda B following financial irregularities.
But the governing body of Spanish football have announced that Jose Bordalas’ men will continue their place in the second-tier of football in the country.
