Fabio Coentrao looks set to leave Real Madrid this summer, and according to Marca, the left-back wants to sign for Tottenham.
The Madrid-based paper believe that the Portugal international is keen to join up with his compatriot Andre Villas-Boas in north London, and will angle for a transfer soon.
Los Blancos rate the defender at around €25m, a valuation that will not put off the Premier League side, who also believe they can match Coentrao’s Madrid wages.
Any prospective transfer will not however, be done until Gareth Bale has completed his move from White Hart Lane to Santiago Bernabeu.
