Reports in the Spanish Press this afternoon have claimed that David Luiz will try to force through a move to Barcelona.
The Bluagrana have been heavily linked with the Chelsea defender in recent weeks, and according to Mundo Deportivo, the Brazil international will ask to leave west London for the Catalan capital.
The Blaugrana have been on the look-out for a central defender for over a year now, and have already missed out on their main target – Paris Saint-Germain’s Thiago Silva.
As such, Gerardo Martino’s men will hope to sign the 26-year-old before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month.
The Barcelona-based newspaper believe that Luiz will drop his current wage considerably in order to get his dream move to Camp Nou.
