Gonzalo Higuain has reportedly arrived in Rome today ahead of completing a move from Real Madrid to Napoli.
The striker, who is believed to be costing the Italian side an initial fee of €37m, has apparently landed at Rome’s airport on Wednesday, having been left out of Madrid’s party travelling to Lyon today.
The Gazzetta dello Sport report that the 25-year-old will now undergo tests at the Villa Stuart clinic in the Italian capital.
Juventus and Arsenal had both previously been linked with Higuain, but he looks set to become the third Madrid player after Jose Callejon and Raul Albiol to make the move to the Stadio San Paolo this summer.
