Former Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao has been accused of being two years older than has otherwise been suggested.
The Colombian, who this summer was sold by Los Colchoneros to Monaco, has been reported by a preschool he attended in his homeland as being 29 now, rather than 27.
The San Pedro Claver school in Bucaramanga, which Falcao went to as a youngster, has seen its director claim this week that the striker enrolled in 1989 as a five-year-old, reflecting that if so, he was born in 1984, not 1986 as otherwise understood.
Falcao’s father has responded to the accusation by denying it and assuring that it is a mistaken claim.
