Thiago Silva’s agent has once more refuted transfer speculation linking his client with a move to Barcelona.
Reports today have it that the defender is returning early from vacation to inform Paris Saint-Germain Coach Laurent Blanc of his intention to leave and sign for Barca.
However, maintaining the stance that PSG have taken through the summer on the matter, the player’s agent has rejected the suggestion that the 28-year-old will be sold.
“He’ll be here for next season and will continue through to the end of his contract,” Pualo Tonietto told Le Parisien today.
Silva’s current deal with PSG runs until June 2017.
