Osasuna have confirmed that legendary captain Patxi Punal has signed a one-year extension with the club.
The 37-year-old has been at the Rojillos since 1997, playing over 400 League games for the Basque side.
And Jose Luis Mendilibar’s men have today confirmed that the midfielder has put pen-to-paper on another season-long deal.
“I have committed myself to do the right thing and fight for the club I grew up supporting,” he told their official website.
“I am satisfied to remain with this club and fight for these colours.”
