Higuain deal not yet complete

Marca report that Real Madrid and Arsenal have yet to agree terms on a fee for Gonzalo Higuain’s transfer.

The Argentine’s father and representative Jorge Higuain yesterday commented that talks over a deal were at an advanced stage, whilst reports in England speculated that by Thursday evening/Friday morning the transfer would be complete.

However, with the player believed waiting in Spain for the go-ahead to fly out to London to sign off on a reputed three-year contract, Marca suggest that Arsenal have yet to finalise terms of agreement with Madrid.

The Gunners are understood to have offered €27m for the 25-year-old, but are still waiting for’ an affirmative answer’ from Los Blancos.
