Athletic Bilbao have confirmed the signing of striker Kike Sola from Osasuna, for an initial fee believed to be €4m.
Athletic were known as in negotiations for the 27-year-old since the end of last season, with the player having entered into the final year of his contract with Osasuna.
Reports this week indicated that a deal was imminent and Los Rojillos’ President Miguel Archanco reported that a provisional €4m payment plus add-ons had been agreed.
On from this, Athletic have today confirmed Sola’s capture, a decade on from having left the Basque Country outfit at youth level.
