Gareth Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett has denied any offer from Real Madrid for the Tottenham Hotspur player.
Bale has been consistently linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer and recently admitted his future may lie in La Liga.
Nonetheless, Barnett told Marca TV’s Futboleros programme that there had still been no concrete offer for the Welsh international.
“There has not been any offer from Madrid, so you’ll have to talk to them and then we’ll see. Bale has not said no, but neither has he said yes,” he revealed.
Los Blancos are understood to be coming to the conclusion Bale will not be arriving in the Spanish capital this summer, given the player is reluctant to force his exit from White Hart Lane and is prepared to stay with Spurs another year.
The 23-year-old’s contract with the Londoners does not contain a release clause and he is believed to consider he still has plenty of time on his side should he decide to make the move abroad, although Madrid would be his first choice.
