Vicente del Bosque gave an indication of his plans for Spain’s Confederations Cup semi-final against Italy in the latest training session.
In light of Cesc Fabregas and Roberto Soldado’s respective muscle complaints ensuring that in Tuesday night’s session they worked separate from the main group, it was Fernando Torres and David Silva that worked with the group of players expected to start against Italy in Fortaleza.
In last night’s practice match held at training, Torres and Silva lined up alongside the same other nine players who started against Nigeria on Sunday evening.
Who starts on Thursday reportedly could be determined by Wednesday evening’s training session, with it seen that if Fabregas and Soldado are not recovered by then, that Torres and Silva will definitely take their respective places.
