Malaga midfielder and Atletico Madrid target Jeremy Toulalan has reportedly also attracted the attention of Ligue 1 outfit Rennes.
The Frenchman is strongly expected to leave La Rosaleda this summer, with Atleti believed to be in pole position to capture his services.
However, L’Equipe suggest that they may face competition from the player’s home country in the shape of former Real Socieadad Coach Philippe Montanier’s new team.
Rennes have reportedly inquired after the 29-year-old this summer and whilst seen as keen to try and activate a deal, apparently would need Toulalan to drop his wage demands.
