Midfielder Natxo Insa has been told by Celta Vigo that his contract for the 2013-14 campaign will not be renewed.
Insa [pictured, left] scored the goal against Espanyol on the final day of the season that ensured top-flight football at Balaidos next season, but he was told on Thursday he is not in new boss Luis Enrique’s plans for next season.
Signed from Villarreal two years ago, Insa came through Valencia’s youth academy before moving to El Madrigal in 2009 after a two-year loan spell with Eibar.
A statement on Celta’s official website said that the club wished to express to the 27-year-old their ‘most sincere thanks’ for his ‘splendid performances, commitment and professionalism’ in his two seasons with Los Celestes, and hoped he had ‘great success’ in the future.
