Monaco ready €100m Ronaldo bid

Monaco are reportedly lining up a world record offer for Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

The Independent report that the Ligue 1 outfit, fronted by Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, are ready to try and tempt the 28-year-old and his employers to part ways this summer.

Whilst Florentino Perez has suggested that Ronaldo will sign a renewal at Madrid, reports have otherwise speculated that the player remains discontented and unwilling to sign any new deal.

It is understood that Monaco are readying a €100m offer to test Madrid’s resolve and also try and set a new world record by offering the player a €20m annual salary.

The principality outfit are reportedly monitoring Ronaldo’s situation and will make a move in early August, if no agreement between the Portuguese and Madrid over a renewal is reached.
