Malaga have made their first move of the summer transfer window, signing winger Pedro Morales to a two-year contract.
Morales signed at La Rosaleda as a free agent in December on a deal through to the end of the season.
Whilst a number of changes are expected at the club this summer, Chilean Morales has done enough to impress the Anchovies, and they have signed him to new contract.
Confirming the news via a statement on their official website, Malaga also carried quotes from the 28-year-old.
“I’m really pleased as that’s what I came here for, to get the chance to stay at Malaga,” Morales commented this week.
“I adapted to the team well and scored goals which helped us achieve our objectives. I’m really happy to be staying here, it’s what I wanted when I arrived, and I’d like to thank everyone for all their support.
“I’m now looking forward to a good pre-season, and to make the most of every opportunity.
“I hope we continue to have great success, and I can support the team as much as possible.”
