Zidane not qualified as Coach?

Real Madrid reportedly cannot turn to Zinedine Zidane as a back-up option as Coach this summer, as he is not yet fully qualified.

The Frenchman has been studying for his coaching badges in France over the past few years, but has apparently only reached level 2 of his course, when it is a level 3 qualification required to take a head Coach position at a club.

Part of achieving level 3 is gaining a minimal level of experience coaching at regional senior level or national youth level. Zidane is currently in the process of achieving this, working with Madrid’s youth side.

Club President Florentino Perez has more than once in the past few weeks floated publicly the idea of Zidane stepping in as Coach this season, should Los Blancos find that their reported first choice of Carlo Ancelotti is not released from his Paris Saint-Germain contract.
