Reports today have it that Real Sociedad are on the verge of picking up Barcelona’s Marc Muniesa on a free transfer.
The defender, who is currently with Spain’s Under-21 squad preparing for next month’s European Championships in Israel, is out of contract at the Camp Nou this summer.
Speculation is that Real Sociedad have come in early with an offer and, barring any complications, Muniesa is set to sign on.
Becoming La Real’s first signing for next season, the 21-year-old versatile centre-back will reportedly be handed a two-year contract.
