PSG want €7.5m for Ancelotti

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly pushing for €7.5m to release Carlo Ancelotti from his contract to join Real Madrid.

Los Blancos are reportedly after the Italian tactician to come in as Jose Mourinho’s replacement at the Santiago Bernabeu next season, but are believed reluctant to pay compensation for a third consecutive managerial appointment.

Ancelotti has seemingly seen a request to leave PSG turned down on Sunday, with President Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Leonardo both commenting since on the hope of having him change his mind.

AS report that part of PSG’s strategy to keep hold of the Coach is to demand €7.5m in compensation from Madrid and warn them that any approach without paying that fee will result in a legal battle.
