Pepe Mel has claimed that reaching the Europa League would be a huge achievement for Real Betis.
The Verdiblancos play Mallorca on Monday looking for the three points that could take them above Malaga and into sixth.
But the Coach has insisted that it will not be easy and has admitted that he is wary of a potential challenge from Rayo Vallecano for a European place.
“We have to be extremely respectful of Rayo,” he told a Press conference. “They have played a superb season.
“But to be seventh with three games remaining was a dream we had at the start of the season.
“To get to the Europa League would be a huge achievement for everyone.
“We will not just go to Mallorca looking for a draw – we never do that.
“A draw would be a bad result for us, so we're going to go there to try and win.”
