Michel Herrero has confirmed today that Valencia have already activated the buyback clause in his Levante contract.
Los Che were linked with bringing back the midfielder to Mestalla this summer, having been impressed with his season across the city at Ciutat de Valencia.
“Valencia has already paid and everything is correct, but out of respect to Levante, my attention is focused on them,” commented Michel to reporters today.
“I’m going to give my all, 100 per cent, in these final three games.
“In Levante I have been at home. They have treated me very well, I will never forget the treatment that I have been given and I will always remember this.
“I want to finish well and I thank all who have supported me. On a personal level, this experience has been very positive. I have played much, I participated in three competitions and I think my performance has been good.”
The 24-year-old was asked for his view on Levante’s dressing room at the moment.
“There comes a point when you are tired. Now everything is clear, the dressing room is as before.
“We have to focus on the football. The joking around has returned, and what matters now is that we finish well, with good vibes, and everyone happy before going on holiday.”
