Pepe's season looks to be over at Real Madrid, after reports suggested that the Portuguese defender will be sidelined by Jose Mourinho.
The centre-back had claimed last weekend that the Coach had been disrespectful to Iker Casillas, after the tactician admitted that he would have signed goalkeeper Diego Lopez sooner than January if he had the chance again.
And Cuatro have insisted that the tactician has not taken too kindly to those remarks - defending the Spain captain, and will leave Pepe out of the Blancos squad for the rest of the campaign.
The 30-year-old was sidelined on Wednesday evening for the match against Malaga, left out in place of youngster Fabinho.
Mourinho had previously stated that Pepe's problem “had a name – it's Raphael Varane”.
