Eric Abidal is reportedly growing increasingly frustrated at Barcelona’s delay in making clear his future at the club beyond the summer.
The Frenchman, who has recently battled back from a liver transplant to play again, is out of contract in the summer, and his agent says no new offer as arrived yet.
“Abidal is starting to get disappointed by the time it is taking the club,” commented David Venditelli to RAC1 this week.
“For him it is increasingly difficult to accept, not if he will continue with the club or not, but the wait itself.
“Barca have offered for Abidal to take an honourable position in the club, but he is still looking for a sporting solution to his situation.
“There is no reason for the club to have to tell Abidal to continue for another season.”
